PASSION PRoject

Image result for ar sandboxfor the last few weeks we have been making an AR sandbox which teaches people about Topography and a topographical view. it is a hands-on sandbox exhibit combined with 3D visualization applications created by researchers at UC Davis.
Simply mold the sand by hand and the landscape comes to life! The sand is augmented in real-time with an elevation color map, topographic contour lines, and simulated water. i wasn't here for the construction week so i have no information about how the building went. But what i do know is that the AR sandbox is a very interesting thing. you can use your hand to make a virtual rain cloud which will affect the climate of your virtual world. i really had fun in this and it helped me to design things!

Attitude talk

today 2 people from an organisation called Attitude came to talk to us and shared some funny and helpful things with us.
some of the tips were that you can't just delete anything so be very wary of what you post. also just DON'T go accepting random friend/follow requests because it might be to put as Emma said "some old guy who still lives at his mum's house hiding behind his device". Emma was also Cat-fished which is basically you making a fake account and putting pictures that aren't you on that profile.

Yurtle the Turtle

This is Yurtle the Turtle
Yurtle is a female Red-Eared slider who might have some eggs inside her. We will need to feed her fishy stuff and take her out for a walk at morning tea. We think she will be a great class pet!
How we got Yurtle is we had to write a persuasive letter to Mr Mitchell's wife, who works at St Bernadettes, to get the turtle. We also swapped her for our previous class pets, the frogs.

this is my narrative

A strange thing happened on my way to school today
As i was walking to school a weird glowing crack appeared in front of me making strange noises,
curious i jumped in. SNAP WHOOSH THUD! My feet hit concrete and i had a shaft of metal in my hand.
HOOT HOOT HOOT! Next thing i know i'm in a bus with a bunch of other people, in a snap i realise my
dream had come true because I WAS IN FORTNITE!

After realising this i ran to the door and leapt out angling my body down for a while. After what was about
ten seconds i groped in my pocket for a
small disc “Gotcha” i triumphantly cry and throw the disc out in front of me.

As the disc spins i hear a supercar speeding up and the glider pops out in front of me so i grab the handles
and glide safely to a building where my blinged out pickaxe magically pops into my hands
“what wha- ok so i am Mission Specialist but what is my back bling?” i look at my back and realise i got
the Dark Void back bling but, first things first i need to loot up!

About 2 minutes later i was loaded with supplies and weapons.
As i was running i heard footsteps so i quickly swung myself and my m16 around.
As i surveyed the area there was nothing of interest except a suspicious bush so i aimed my m16 at the bush
and loaded it and the player wearing it with medium ammo.

9 and a half minutes later i had finished off all the players i met except one.

I nearly jumped out of my skin when i saw him idly standing next to me…
SNAP i quickly dispatched him with a round from my Deagle and won the match
WHOOSH THUD my feet hit the concrete of the school bike rack area and i walked into school
feeling a weight in my pocket.
